My husband and I have been watching The Chosen since it was first released on the Angel app back in 2017! Once the DVD was available in Walmart, I went to my local Walmart and was super excited to find it there (I live in a pretty small town in Maine). We have since consistently stayed up to date with the show. I proudly wear my Chosen sweatshirt out and about. Now season 4 is set to release, similar to last year it will be shown first in theaters.

The Chosen is a project that is funded by donations. The show’s producers have primarily used crowdfunding on the Angel Studios platform to finance production, and it continues to be the most successful crowdfunded TV series or film project. Seeing the movie in the theaters also helps fund the project.
The Chosen in theaters is great for the viewer who loves the cinema experience and is looking for family-friendly, wholesome entertainment.
