My Thoughts

This book is a great book about friendship and being there for each other in the good and hard times. The book follows the relationship stories of four women; Piper, Rachel, Sydney, and Grace. It takes place in Boston, yet the girls are from different places. It is the common story of lost love that brought them together and the story of finding new love and moving forward strengthens their friendship.

At first, I had a hard time remembering the past love lives of the characters as they were introduced but as the story moved on it became easier to remember. Soon into the book I had a favorite I was rooting for to find love. Throughout the book at the end of some chapters is a short narrative from one of the friends getting ready for her wedding. Of course, it is not mentioned which girl it is or the husband to be until the final reveal. It really keeps you rooting for your favorite character and you try to pick up clues along the way but the author does a great job keeping you engaged until the end.

I did enjoy this book, it was an easy read after an intense historical fiction I just finished. A story of love and friendship, what’s not to like.
