In a world that is trying its best to define us without the need for God or without a purpose for God; the Life In Christ Bible will show you who God truly says you are. If I look back on my life before accepting Jesus into it I had feelings of hopelessness, uncertainty, and emptiness. I love the message on the back of the box containing this Bible-

Quickly thinking back on my early years as a Christian, a Bible like this would have been a great gift to my early walk with God. Each page has one or more Identity in Christ notes that are driven from the passage on the page. These notes serve as an encouragement, praise, and sense of thankfulness for the God we serve and the Savior who died for us.

The Life In Christ Bible I received is a New King James Version (NKJV) and brown leathersoft. The cover is beautiful and soft, it does not have the plastic-type feel that some imitation leather Bibles have. The soft cover makes the Bible easy to open and lays flat. If you are like me and sometimes fold the left side under when reading the right side, that can be done easily and comfortably. The print is Comfort Print, which is designed to make it easier to read. Here is a side-by-side picture of my Study Bible print and the comfort print in the Life In Christ Bible.

The Bible also has two ribbon bookmarks, one is blue and the other is brown. This is great for someone like me who tends to read the Old Testament and New Testament each day, so I can place a marker in each spot. One thing I always check with a Bible is the page thickness for highlighting. Even though these pages felt a little thicker than my study Bible, a liquid highlighter and gel highlighter did show through the page. I found that a yellow colored pencil was the best option.
